EDO STATE AT 31: KEEP HOPE ALIVE - Dcn. Idiake By Francis Akhigbe

The solid candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2023 House of Representatives election, Esan West, Esan Central and Igueben Federal Constituency, Dcn. Patrick Akhimiemona Idiake had admonished the people of Edo State to keep hope alive and have faith in God, that Edo State will soon be a reference point in the comity of States in Nigeria.
Dcn. Idiake made this declaration in his goodwill message to the People of Edo State with emphasis on the people of Esan West, Esan Central and Igueben Federal Constituency whom he is vying to represent in the House of Representatives, come 2023.

Quoting Glean D. Paige, a Political Scientist, who said, "Every leader is faced within the ambit of time to be judged on the basis of the inevitable successes and failures of his public policy for which he can be held responsible" and the Book of Proverbs  Chapter 13:12 which says, "Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desires come, it is a tree of life", he assured his people that he was on a rescue mission and in a hurry to take them out of the political, social, economic and religious setbacks their Representatives had put and still putting them even  now.
He appreciated them for their patience and courage so far, for supporting their Government inspite of all odds, believing that they would enjoy the dividends of Democracy they promised them.
He assured them that the dividends are possible if eventually they vote for him in 2023 to represent them.
Dcn. Patrick Akhimiemona Idiake eulogized the founding Fathers of the State for their selfless sacrifices made to ensure that the creation of Edo State became a reality. He made a particular reference to HRM, OMO N'OBA N'EDO UKU AKPO'LO'KPOLO OBA EREDIAUWA of blessed memory who was the Chairman of the Steering Committee, Traditional Rulers and Sons and Daughters of Edo State who contributed in no small measures.
